Description The Brain Injury Association of Peel and Halton (BIAPH) advocates for the needs of, and provides information to survivors of brain injuries, their families and support network * Facilitates measures to promote the prevention of brain injury, improve quality of care/life, provide community education, and conduct resource searches on behalf of the members * offers information about Acquired Brain Injuries (ABI) services in Peel and Halton * Monthly, social, and leisure support groups, information nights * Helmets on Kids - education about safety, prevention and brain injury awareness to elementary school students. * provides caregiver relief to family and friends providing ongoing care for a person living with an acquired brain injury. 
 
In affiliation with the Ontario Brain Injury Association (OBIA) -Peer Support Mentoring Program; Education; Brain Basic Course - a two day course for professionals and family caregivers.

Eligibility Persons with acquired brain injuries (and their families)
Fees Membership - yearly $30.00 Single; $50.00 Family. This is a dual membership with OBIA. ; Program
Languages English ; Infomational material available in Punjabi, Urdu, Chinese, Polish, Portugese and Spanish
