Description Offers a wide range of employment programs
Employment Support for Social Assistance Recipients - offered in partnership with the Region of Peel, Ontario Works * assists participants in becoming job-ready * provides structured job search activities and workshops * referral to appropriate community supports * self-help tools for skills assessment and industry research * job boards as well as referrals to paid employment opportunities * participation expenses: transportation, child care, employment start-up allowances
Eligibility - social assistance recipients living within Mississauga
Registration - referrals by the Region of Peel

Job Search Workshops for Newcomers - employment program for newcomers provides job search assistance at no charge * on completion of full workshop participants will receive a Certificate of Participation * all services offered free of charge * also available occasional child care facility
Employment Support Services - provides one-on-one employment counselling * includes critique and advice on resumes, cover letters, references and other job search documents, interview and network techniques * assists job seekers individually in short micro-sessions arranged by appointment
