| Description | The primary aim of the association is to reduce the sense of inactivity, lack of camaraderie, and loneliness of the members. Thus the general objectives of the association are as follows: a) to develop and promote camaraderie and fellowship among members b) to participate actively in worthwhile community projects or either or both the Philippine and Canadian governments c) to promote unity and better understanding among the members of the association and with other senior organizations in the community, and d) to render assistance to bonafide members in every feasible way as the need arises. |
| Hours | The FSM association regularly uses the room facilities at the Mississauga Valley Community Centre (MVCC) for its meetings, Saturday get togethers, session on Line dancing, Zumba, listen to some resource speakers dealing with special or pertaining to senior levels be they in health, wellness, or financial matters or could be subject matters of interest to its members. Wednesday from 6:00 PM till 8:00 PM Saturdays from 12 noon to 5:00 PM |

| Application | There is a membership form that those wanting to join the association has to fill out. Some basic information is asked just to have information as to address, age, status, contact nos., e-mail address. Good if some background information can be provided as to their interest or past work experience. Such information are for internal use only and might be shared with corresponding government agencies, if ordered or demanded. All information provided is considered confidential information. As to the FSM membership, we only share one's name, mailing address, contact nos., and e-mail address - restricted for INTERNAL use only by FSM members. Such information is made know in the application form for proper guidance and info. |

| Meetings | The association regularly uses the Mississauga Valley Community Center (MVCC) room facilities for its meeting. For its regular FSM Board meetings, of which we use MVCC facilities every 2nd Wednesdays of the month. For monthly general membership meetings, the association uses the MVCC room facilities every last Saturdays of the month. FSM has a regular Wednesday slot from 6:00 to 8:00 PM and on Saturdays slot from 12 noon to 5:00 PM, the association uses the room facilities either for some meetings or other activities of the association for its members like line dancing, zumba, fun bingo, mahjong, card games. The FSM association would like to extended its sincere acknowledgement and thanks to MVCC and the City of Mississauga for generously allowing the association the free us of the MVCC room facilities for the association's needs all these years. |
