Description SHIP Mission: To optimize quality of life for individuals with mental illness through housing and community-based services SHIP provides a variety of community based mental health and supportive housing services for men and women who have an identified psychiatric illness, enabling them to live independently in the community in an atmosphere of support, co-operation, understanding and affordability

•Central Intake and Assessment-single point of access for all applications and information  
•Assertive Community Treatment Teams (ACTT)  
•Angela's Place 20-unit transitional housing support program for families experiencing homeless 
•Early Intervention 
•Problematic Substance Use (PSU)-support for marginalized populations 
•Assisted Living-Program in partnership with Dufferin County, allows proactive support to frail seniors who want to continue living independently (Program covers Dufferin County) 
•High Support Program-provides tenants with Healthy Housing™ accommodations, access to recreational activities and transportation, and 24/7 individualized support  
•Peer Support Initiatives-offer employment and training opportunities for clients  
•Peel Youth Village (PYV)-multipurpose building offering residential program, transitional housing and support services for youth  
•Recovery Residences-Parsons Place in Brampton and Hammond House in Mississauga 
•Integrated Seniors Team Program-promotes seniors’ health and wellness in North Brampton area  
•Housing Services-provided affordable housing to clients 
•In-Sted (In-Short Term Emergency Diversion)-In-STED team members provide services, supports and linkages to other community-based services by working collaboratively with community partners  
•Short Stay Crisis Support Program (SSCS)-program responds to the intensive support needs of individuals with mental illness in a crisis situation
