| Description | Community based agency offering programs to adults and youth who are in conflict with the law Services: •counselling services for women, men and youth in conflict, or at risk of becoming in conflict with the law •advocates on behalf of individuals involved in the criminal justice system •institutional visiting to provide incarcerated women with information and support •public education Provides a variety of programs in Halton and Peel to assist people in conflict with the law including •Community Service Order Program •Youth Anger Management programs, Youth Follow-Up and Aftercare programs, Female Youth Attendance Centre(s) in both Peel and Halton, north and south •Crime Prevention program •Court and Institutional Services program •Community Counselling program * Ellen House and Marjorie Amos Residence residential facilities * Diversion/Alternative Measures program for non-violent first-time offenders appearing at Brampton, Milton, Oakville, and Burlington Provincial Courts |
