| Description | Inpatient mental health services * 4 units * provide assessment and acute treatment for adults with major mental illness Intensive Unit 12-bed unit which provides treatment for the most acutely ill patients who arrive from the Emergency Department Gen B 20-bed unit providing acute treatment primarily for those with mood and anxiety disorders Gen C 20-bed unit providing acute treatment for those primarily with schizophrenia and psychotic disorders Geriatric Mental Health Unit 12 bed unit which provides acute treatment for seniors with major mental disorders |
