Description | The Eating Disorders Clinic at Peel Memorial Hospital provides outpatient assessment and treatment for children, adolescents and adults in the Central West LHIN and Halton (Georgetown) with mild to moderate eating disorders including Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa and Eating Disorder Not Otherwise Specified. Services are offered in stages and include: Assessment and diagnosis/clinical formulation Family-based treatment Group psychoeducation Nutrition counselling Short-term psychotherapy groups Limited individual therapy Two nurse practitioners provide clinical monitoring as well as community outreach and education.
