| Description | Caregiver Support Group organized on a monthly basis for caregivers and volunteers designed to educate, inform, and empower caregivers participants learn about health-related issues receive information on other programs available in the community to support and help them through the caregiving process network with other caregivers Friendly Visiting Program/Telephone Reassurance regular volunteer visits and/or phone calls to seniors who live in their home, hospital, and long term care setting provide companionship and reassurance provide respite and support to caregivers security reassurance checks by telephone free of cost / available in Brampton, Mississauga and Caledon |
