Description A charitable multiservice organization that provides culturally enriching services, programs and support that enhance the lives of families and individuals throughout the Region of Peel's Black and Caribbean communities 
 
Provides education and support to women who have experienced domestic (violence by family members and/or intimate partners) and sexual violence (by family members and or non-family members) 
 
Prevention program for women offering 
•one-on-one supportive counselling  
•advocacy 
•accompaniment 
•telephone crisis intervention 
•supportive group meetings 
•court accompaniment 
 
Social Enterprising and Entrepreneurial Development (SEED) Program - helps racialized women develop entrepreneurial skills and enhance employment readiness. Offers women an opportunity to build their confidence, find their voice, and provides a forum to express themselves 
 
The program offers: 
 
•a supportive, empowering space to help women launch or grow their business 
•a safe space for women healing from trauma and gender-based violence 
•access to culturally-sensitive individual counselling and supports 
•comprehensive guidance in building a successful business through a 12-week workshop 
•training in administration, marketing, finance, merchandising, networking, digital literacy, distribution, and other key business skills 
•mentorship by experienced business professionals and support in preparing a business plan 
•support with child-minding and transportation costs as needed
Hours Office Hours: Mon-Fri 9am-4:30pm
