| Description | Adult Day Program * social, recreational, and therapeutic activities for frail older adults, adults with disabilities, and adults with Alzheimer's disease and related dementia in a group setting for part of the day * helps to support family caregivers who provide day-to-day care • semi-secure area • physiotherapy • music therapy •nursing services •blood pressure clinics •podiatrist (fee for service) •hair salon (fee for service) •optometry (fee for service) •exercise classes •reading and discussion groups •gardening •arts and crafts •woodworking •cooking and baking •board games, cards games •music •spiritual care •outings in a wheelchair-accessible bus •special events such as birthday celebrations, picnics, cultural events Additional: • medication reminders • transfers with lifts • toileting assistance • incontinence care • bathing program • dietary assessments - therapeutic diets available • transportation through TransHelp, Canes Community Care, Compassion Transportation |
