Description | Municipal financial assistance program to assist senior citizens and physically challenged homeowners with costs incurred from hiring a contractor to remove snow from their sidewalks and driveways * qualifying applicants can receive a grant - up to $300 for non-corner lot properties * up to $400 for corner lot properties with sidewalks on two sides of the property and where both sidewalks are not cleared by the city |

Eligibility | Be 65 years of age or older at the date of application or be an applicant with a permanent physical disability. The owner or primary renter must occupy the property on which the application is made. Not have claimed a credit on any other property for the same winter season. Not live in a condominium dwelling whereby all snow removal is the direct responsibility of the condominium corporation. Only one application per municipal address may be approved |
Application | Return the application by April 30 following the winter season to receive a grant, proof of service must be provided to the City of Brampton by July 31 following the winter season |
