Description | Adult day program * frail older adults, adults with cognitive disorders and acquired brain injury and younger adults, in a group setting for part of the day * helps to support family caregivers who provide day-to-day care in secure area Service includes: •physiotherapy •dietary assessment, special diets, and utensils •swallowing assessment •hot lunch, morning and afternoon snacks •access to doctor, nurse, dietician, social worker •walking club •BBQ's/monthly luncheons •breakfast club •monthly large party/seasonal special events •gardening, baking, cooking, sewing •spiritual services •art and woodworking groups •music and discussion groups •pet therapy •intergenerational program with the child care Transportation through WheelTrans, Red Cross, Canes Community Care, Vaughan Transit and CHATS Wait list: Mon-Fri |
