Description | Adult day program * frail older adults, adults with cognitive disorders and acquired brain injury and younger adults, in a group setting for part of the day * helps to support family caregivers who provide day-to-day care in secure area Service includes: • physiotherapy • dietary assessment, special diets, and utensils • swallowing assessment • hot lunch, morning and afternoon snacks • access to doctor, nurse, dietician, social worker • walking club • BBQ's/monthly luncheons • breakfast club • monthly large party/seasonal special events • gardening, baking, cooking, sewing • spiritual services • art and woodworking groups • music and discussion groups • pet therapy • intergenerational program with the child care Transportation through WheelTrans, Red Cross, Canes Community Care, Vaughan Transit and CHATS |
