Description & Services
Description Provides outpatient services for children and adolescents (up to their 18th birthday), and their families. Children must have either a diagnosed psychiatric condition, or significant symptoms or unusual behaviour indicative of a psychiatric condition. Treatment may include individual, family or group therapy, psychiatric assessment, psychological testing, medication consultation and follow up. Services also include education and collaboration with other agencies and schools. 
This service is one of six agencies to launch a ONE PHONE NUMBER approach to enable easier access to mental health services in the community for children and youth. 
Current waiting period is 2-3 months.
Hours Mon - Fri 8:30 am-4:30 pm, some evening appointments available 
Appointments for assessments are scheduled during the day, follow-up appointments are available during the day and Tue and Thu evenings

Eligibility Ages: 17 year(s) and under 
Residents of Mississauga and South Etobicoke
Application All referrals for a psychiatric consultation require a written referral from a physician and are screened by an intake specialist at Mental Health Services for Child and Youth, Peel Coordinated Intake Network Parents must have valid Ontario Health Card for child 
Referrals to community based mental health supports can be made by professionals, parents or guardians.
