Description Peel Children's Centre is a fully accredited, community-based children's mental health centre. The Centre offers a range of high quality, evidence-based services for children/youth under age 18, and their families. Services are voluntary, free-of-charge and confidential. Program options include: 
Coordinated, centralized intake and access 
24/7 Crisis response 
Counselling (child/youth and family) 
Tangerine Walk-In Counselling on Wednesdays (no appointment required) 
Group services (education and treatment) 
Resource consultations with families at licensed childcare centres 
Resource consultations regarding youth with concurrent disorders (mental health and substance use) 
Intensive treatment services 
Day treatment (in special classrooms) 
School-based services (brief group services, brief intensive services & alternatives to day treatment) 
Residential treatment 
Case management for children with complex mental health needs 
Wraparound Process 
Arson prevention 
Respite services 
Child witness preparation 
Sexual abuse treatment 
Assessment of youth involved in the court system upon the referral of a judge.
Hours Mon-Thu 8:30am-8pm 
Fri 8:30am-5pm 
Tangerine Walk-In Counselling: Wed 9am-8pm (last session starts at 6pm) 
Crisis Response Service: 365 days/year
Areas Served Peel Region - The Child Witness Program also serves Halton Region and Dufferin County ; Peel Region
Eligibility Ages: 17 year(s) and under 
 
Children, youth and their families who experience serious difficulties with their feelings, behaviour or relationships.
Fees None - All services free of charge
