Description Hope Endoors is a safe space for individuals with developmental disabilities. Our day program focuses on enhancing functional life skills, physical activity and being a part of the community. Day program participants will have opportunities to engage in fun, interactive interest-based activities that enhance their communication and social skills while making genuine connections with peers and their community. We understand the needs of every individual who walks through our doors are unique. We provide individualized, strength and interest-based programming to ensure all needs are met and all participants feel safe, respected, connected and heard. 
Examples of activities: 
Baking/Cooking, 
Social skills, 
Life skills, 
Exercise, 
Field trips, 
Volunteering/Community involvement,  
Functional Math & Literacy skills 
This program is suitable for you if you: 
- Are an individual 18 + who face challenges in learning and communication, individuals with Autism, Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder, or any other neurodevelopmental conditions. 
-want to learn life skills so they can feel more comfortable doing things independently at home, and they want to establish and learn how to maintain genuine relationships and participant in activities in the community 
-feel comfortable and can participate in community outings within a group ratio of 1 staff, 5 participants 
-Can regulate your emotions without becoming aggressive towards yourself or others 
-Fairly independent in the bathroom, may occasionally need verbal prompts 
This program is not suitable for you if you; 
* unable to appropriately regulate your emotions and become aggressive when upset 
* always needs assistance to go to the bathroom 
* have no desire to participate in daily outings/excursions 
Ratios: 1:5 (You can come with your own 1:1 worker)
Hours 9-3:30
