| Description | Victory Neighbourhood Services Inc. is a not-for-profit charitable organization that focuses on supporting children and youth in the community. It is our goal to provide a positive influence for children and youth so they can succeed in the future and strive for the top. We provide various programs such as counselling, game nights, and dance nights. We believe that as a community, we have an obligation to influence, encourage, and empower our youths of today in order to make a difference tomorrow. Counselling Program: We operate a free Child and Youth Counselling Program for individuals aged 10-29 across the Greater Toronto Area. Our services are accessed remotely and we support children and youth who are experiencing difficulties due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Due to the sensitive nature of counselling sessions, confidentiality will be maintained to uphold the privacy of the clients. Our office hours are from 10am - 6pm. Appointments can be scheduled by calling the office or online through victoryneighbourhoodservices.ca/registration. Counselling sessions are made to be unique for every client, so they can be booked in advance via appointment. Sessions are safe and accessible through phone call or online (Zoom) which youths can access if they feel they need extra support through counselling sessions. Our counsellors would be happy to provide strategies and tools to help the youth's mental health or connect them to other resources in the community that may be of help to them. Game Night: Every Friday at 7:00PM, we are starting our weekly youth games nights hosted on zoom and would love to invite interested youth and young adults from your organization to join us. Dance Night: Every Wednesday at 7:00PM, we are starting our weekly youth dance nights hosted on zoom and would love to invite interested youth and young adults from your organization to join us.We instruct youth through various types of dances including hip-hop, jazz, and contemporary. |
