Description | Comprehensive assessments by a nurse practitioner or geriatrician, and a physiotherapist, with recommendations for treatment Strong and Steady Program - Two-hour education and exercise session, twice a week for six weeks, with a follow-up visit three months after the program is completed * participants will improve strength and balance, learn how to make their home safer, find out their risk of having a fall, and learn many ways to protect themselves Assessments take place at the Queensway Health Centre site (150 Sherway Dr, Medical Clinics, 2nd Floor) Exercise and education classes take place at either one of these two locations: - Carmen Corbasson Community Centre, 1399 Cawthra Rd, Mississauga, L5J 4L1 - Meadowvale Community Centre, 6655 Glen Erin Dr, Mississauga, L5N 3L4 |
