Description/Eligibility/Service Details
Description | If your child has been diagnosed with Autism, Exceptional Minds Adaptive Learning Services Inc. can help by creating an individualized service plan, based on the functional needs of the child and family. Each of their programs are designed to target specific goals for each child as they believe that there is not a “one size fits all” approach but rather, programs have to be individualized to meet the specific needs of each child. Exceptional Minds Adaptive Learning Services Inc. offers an eclectic approach to ABA/IBI Therapy where some goals would include: attention, compliancy, self-regulation, building expressive/receptive language, increased communication skills, adapting/following school and home routines, social skills development, appropriate play skills, academic progress, addressing sensory needs, and motor development. Exceptional Minds Learning Academy offers ABA Training Programs to Parents and Professionals. The goal of these programs is to empower Parents and Caregivers, by giving them the essential tools to successfully implement ABA strategies in the home and community. They provide group training sessions and private one on one training sessions (home and community). Exceptional Minds Adaptive Learning Services Inc. also offers a number of different group programs for children, youth and their families. They regularly offer Social Skills program in an enjoyable and interactive environment for children and adolescents between the ages of 4 to 9. Each group size will be kept at a 1:4 ratio. These small group sessions will enable students to interact and learn new skills within a group of appropriately matched peers. Check their website for specific dates. |
