Description | An academic upgrading program * helps individuals acquire the necessary skills for entry into college post-secondary programs, apprenticeship programs or employment * offers part time day courses * includes English, math, biology, chemistry, computer skills, Strategies for Success * students receive an assessment of current academic skills, a training plan and a program tailored to personal goals * the Academic and Career Entrance (ACE) certificate is equivalent to grade 12 OSSD for college admission, apprenticeship or employment Sheridan offers four programs to assist those that need to improve their skills in order to enter a post-secondary college program, an apprenticeship program or for employment: Academic upgrading: English * math * biology * chemistry * for college entrance English as a Second Language (ESL) full-time program for college entrance (PGASE) Language Instruction for Newcomers to Canada (LINC) Enhanced Language Training (ELT) with work placement Also offered at Oakville Skills Training Centre * 407 Iroquois Shore Rd * Oakville Funded by the Ontario Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities |

Application | Information sessions held Tue at 1pm in room B132 at the Davis Campus in Brampton, and at 12pm in room B20 at the STC Campus in Oakville. No appointment necessary. Please arrive a minimum of fifteen minutes prior to the start of the session. |
Fees | There is no tuition fees for the program, however there is a $40 registration fee |
