| Description | Since 1981, Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) Toronto has served as a place to call home for families with seriously ill children undergoing treatment. RMHC Toronto encompasses a House for 81 families in downtown Toronto and seven Family Rooms in hospitals across the Greater Toronto Area and in Sudbury. The families that were served, 5,139 last year. Families have come from throughout Ontario, across Canada and around the world. |

| Application | "Our House" admission: Call VOLUNTEERS: A Ronald McDonald House Charities Toronto volunteer application form must be filled out by those interested in volunteering with us. Police checks are required for House and Family Room volunteer positions. A police check is not required for Special Events volunteers. |
| Fees | Service ; Donation ; While the actual cost to RMHC Toronto to accommodate one family is $183 per night, donations mean families are asked to contribute just $15 a night. A family is defined as up to two adults and their children. Payments are made to the Family Services Associates at the House |
