| Description | Aims for full integration for children into the mainstream of the Peel Region community. Provides parents with information on services available to them, and by advocating on their behalf to obtain these services. Supports the work of other associations and individuals pursuing civil and human rights and equality of opportunity for persons who are intellectually handicapped. Activities also include special functions such as: * Children's Christmas party * Family summer picnic * Annual Gala dinner and silent auction *quarterly sessions with guest speakers for parents of children 0-adult * Social evenings for the adults |
