Description DLI is a, non-profit, provincial umbrella organization that provides accessible and culturally relevant training, research, networking and resources to the Deaf and Deaf-Blind literacy communities. DLI has 15 Deaf and Deaf-Blind literacy organizations, in Ontario, under its umbrella. DLI develops accessible and accredited training for practitioners and learners in the Deaf and Deaf-Blind literacy agencies. DLI undertakes consultation, research, and technology initiatives; DLI produces accessible and culturally relevant learning resources; DLI promotes and supports the needs of Deaf and Deaf-Blind literacy communities.
