| Description | Volunteer MBC is the local volunteer centre serving Mississauga, Brampton and Caledon. We promote meaningful volunteerism and foster best practices through learning and development. We offer a referral service that can help you find a fulfilling Volunteer position with one of our member organizations. Volunteer MBC is a backbone organization providing support to hundreds of community service organizations with their volunteer recruitment, retention and recognition.We have focused programs for youth, older adults, newcomers and corporate groups to make volunteering more meaningful for everyone. We provide learning and development opportunities through workshops, comprehensive programs, community outreach and e-learning. The key audiences for our Learning Centre include volunteers, leaders of volunteers, non-profit sector staff and board directors. |
