| Description | Scouts is an education movement that seeks to help young people in their development through games, teamwork, sharing, appreciation of nature, and community service. * Provides an opportunity for francophone young people, who are a minority in the region, to participate in camps and activities organized by Scouts of the District of Toronto to meet other francophone Scouts in the region* Scouts is an education movement which compliments home and family. It encourages young people in the areas of self-knowledge, self-development, and in learning. It is open to everyone without discrimination of race, or beliefs in compliance with the principals and methods established by its founder, Lord Robert Baden-Powell. * Scouts contributes to the physical, intellectual, moral and spiritual development of young people and teaches them better understanding between generations |
