Description & Services

Description Provides community based, parent-to-parent education, support and training through parent discussion groups, workshops and presentations. Presentations/workshops are available to community organizations. We also have an Online Parent Resource Library with quick parenting strategies in 9 langauges. 
 
Facilitator Training  
Trains parents to facilitate parent education courses and workshops. 
 
Parenting Program 
Offers parenting courses and workshops led by experienced parents; held throughout the region; Child care provided for some groups. 
 
On-line Parenting Programs 
Parenting Courses from the comfort of your home. 
 
Parent Meet Ups 
An informal face to face Meet Up for parents and children at various locations in Peel. 
 
Family Futures 
In partnership with Peel Children's Aid Society, parenting programs are provided specifically for clients of CAS. 
 
Parent Information and Support Telephone Line 
Parents can call and talk to one of our parent educators during office hours or leave a message and their call will be returned. We do not offer individual counselling but can provide parenting information and referrals.
