| Description | Peel Children’s Aid Society strives to ensure the safety and well-being of the community’s most vulnerable with a focus on diversity, equity and inclusion. Through culturally sensitive services, with the support of our Peel community, we help parents and caregivers build healthy families and provide a safe environment for children and youth. Peel Children’s Aid's role is to: Investigate reports of concerns about the well being of children and decide on a course of action. Work with families to determine the kind of supports they need, and link them with the appropriate community services. Provide a temporary, safe and caring environment with kin, family friends or a foster caregiver for children and teens who are unable to stay in their own home or have no parent or guardian available. |
