Description & Services
Description | As a Peel Inclusion Resources Services (PIRS) community partner, Early Childhood Education Resource Services provides support to children who have special needs and their families, to promote the successful inclusion of all children into community childcare programs. Resource Consultants provide service coordination support to families, and develop Individual Program Plans in partnership with community childcare staff, and other professionals. This service is provided through consultation visits to the childcare centre, and home visits with the child's family. |

Eligibility | Ages: 4 year(s) and under Upon entry into the elementary school system, or upon withdrawal from a licenced child care program, children are discharged from Early Childhood Education Resource Services and referred to a Service Coordination agency for support if appropriate. |
