Description & Services
| Description | Ontario's first heritage steam railway featuring authentic Canadian steam and diesel locomotives and vintage rolling stock. This attraction offers a 50-60 minute round train trip between Tottenham and Beeton. Tickets available for purchase on the day of the excursion at Tottenham Station, or online at southsimcoerailway.ca. Also offers group bookings, charters, and special parties, movie and video production facilities, and gift certificates. Baggage Car Parties are a unique way to celebrate a birthday, anniversary, retirement or other special occasions, on a Sunday or holiday Monday. Advanced bookings are required for these events. Contact the office for information on access for disabled. |

| Dates | Regular train excursions operate Sundays and holiday Mondays from Victoria Day weekend to late October. For dates and departure times see website or call for information. Information on special events (Easter, Fall Colours, Christmas in July) can be found on the website approximately 1 month prior to the holiday. Office hours during the operating season are between 9 a.m. and 1:00 p.m., Monday through Friday (excepting holidays). The office opens for the regular season at the beginning of May, and closes the third week of October. |
