| Description | Local service club which participates in community events and arranges annual Remembrance Day Services in Alton. Legion has air-conditioned banquet facilities which will hold 160. Annual Remembrance Day Service, usually Sun before Nov 11th. Parade starts at 10:00 am and marches to the cenotaph (next door to the Legion Hall) with service at 10:30 am |
