| Description |
The Heritage Resource Office is responsible for the conservation, promotion, and enhancement of Caledon's cultural heritage resources. Providing staff support to Heritage Caledon, the Heritage Resource Officer coordinates the designation of heritage properties, compiles heritage inventories, oversees historic cemetery maintenance, and responds to public inquiries on a variety of heritage matters. Also reviews land development applications for heritage impacts and works with the public in realizing viable heritage conservation strategies. Will do presentations to schools and community groups on heritage conservation and Caledon history. |
