Description | Since its founding in 1918, The War Amps has grown from assisting war amputees – whom we still serve – to all amputees, including adults and children. The public’s support of the Key Tag Service, which returns lost keys to Canadians, funds our essential programs and services for amputees in the Peel region and across Canada. The War Amps many programs provide amputees with financial assistance for artificial limbs, peer support, advocacy and information about life as an amputee.
