Description | Social, Recreation and Wellness Centre for Older Adults. Offers live and virtual programs to provide community engagement for older adults and address the social and health challenges of isolation, loneliness and inactivity. Activities: * Active programs including Co-ed Fitness, Zumba, Yoga, Chair Exercise, Tai Chi, Essentrics, Toning, Table Tennis, Pole Walking, Mall Walking * Wellness programs including Dental Cleaning, Footcare, Blood Pressure Clinics,Telephone Reassurance, Support Group, Resource Referral * Poly-Cultural programs include ALCE Latin America Art and Healing Group; Caribbean Seniors Social Activities; Croatia Karta; Happy Life Elderly Vietnamese Group; MCAO Dance; Silayan Filipino Volunteer Group * Dance Programs including Line Dance (Beginner, International and Country styles), Belly Dance, Flamenco, Jazz * Educational & Social programs including Book Club, Creative Writing, Men's Social Club * Artistic and Creative classes including Watercolour painting, Jewellry Making, Stitch and Chat * Game sessions including Euchre, Cribbage, Scrabble, Dungeons & Dragons, Bingo * One on One Computer Training * Travel groups to various locations in Southern Ontario (past trips have included Niagara Falls, Collingwood, Gravenhurst) * Educational workshops and seminars on healthy aging and community resources * Cafeteria providing light, healthy and affordable food * Volunteering opportunities |

Application | Call or drop-in. No referral required. Membership is required for class and program participation. Trial Membership is available for new participants (Up to 4 sessions without purchasing membership, class fees still apply) |
Fees | Membership - Annual - $39.55, plus pay as you go, or registered fee per class; non-residents: $44.05/yr 6-month membership: $24.25; non-residents: $29.65 |
