| Description | Academic Upgrading * helps individuals acquire the necessary skills for entry into college post-secondary programs, apprenticeship programs or employment. Courses include English, Math, Biology, Chemistry, Basic/Advanced Computers, Strategies for Success and Employability Skills.
Students receive an assessment of current academic skills, a training plan and a program tailored to personal goals * the Academic and Career Entrance (ACE) certificate is equivalent to grade 12 OSSD for college admission, apprenticeship or employment Sheridan offers four programs to assist those that need to improve their skills in order to enter a post-secondary college program, an apprenticeship program or for employment: Academic upgrading: English * math * biology * chemistry * for college entrance |

All applicants are assessed in order to determine individual student's entry-level. |
