Description Orchestras Mississauga or The Mississauga Symphony Orchestra presents performances featuring prominent Canadian artists, rising stars and local musicians. It is led by Maestro Denis Mastromonaco and offers music for all tastes from Classical to Pops to Jazz to Baroque to Broadway performance. The group performs primarily at Mississauga's Living Arts Centre in the 1300-seat Hammerson Hall. The Mississauga Symphony Youth Orchestra is a division of the Mississauga Symphony that offers performance opportunities to talented young musicians in the GTA. The MSYO is divided into three ensembles: Sinfonietta, an all-strings ensemble for youth ages 10-14: Symphonic Band, an intermediate orchestra for ages 12-18; Symphony Orchestra, a full symphonic orchestra for mature, highly skilled young adults aged 14-21.
