DescriptionAims to prevent the spread of hepatitis B and C and HIV/AIDS among people who inject drugs (including steroids) while using a Harm Reduction philosophy. 
 
Peel Needle Works provides:  
Sterile needles and injection equipment 
Safer piercing kits 
Sharps containers for disposal of used needles 
Pick up of used needles 
Information on safer drug use and steroid use 
Information on safer sex 
Free condoms and lube 
Referrals to other agencies for support and treatment 
Referrals to a Healthy Sexuality Clinic 
 
Public health Nursing Services: 
HIV testing (including the Rapid Test) 
Hepatitis A, B and C testing 
Testing for sexually transmitted infections (STIs) 
Free treatment for certain STIs 
Birth control, emergency contraceptive pill and pregnancy testing 
 
All services are free and confidential 
No Health Card Needed

Public Health Nursing Services-Mondays 5:00pm to 10:00pm
