DescriptionThe Peel Early Years Hubs and Readiness centres are free, school readiness programs for children ages birth-4yrs, who are accompanied by their parent or caregiver. Together, they participate in a variety of social and educational activities that will provide basic skills for starting school. All readiness centres are staffed with a Kindergarten teacher and a teaching assistant. The Hubs are staffed with a kindergarten teacher, teaching assistant, part-time social worker, part time speech and language pathologist, and full time outreach worker.
