| Description | Provides a variety of support services to other Regional departments as well as a number of direct services to the public. Commissioner oversees all areas within Corporate Services including the Regional Solicitor Clerk's Division - responds to requests for information or action from the public, agencies and other levels of government * responsible for keeping and administering all municipal documents, including copies of by-laws, reports and other documents and records * provides coordination of Regional responsibilities under the Municipal Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act * executes Regional documents and special assessment projects *905-791-7800 ext 4545 Commissioner Of Oaths - provides Commissioner of Oaths services when required for Regional business free of charge * provides this service to the general public (for a fee) if staff is available * call for an appointment 905-791-7800 ext 4545 Legislative Services - acts as the official secretary to Regional Council and its committees and provides legislative support in this area * prepares agendas * records and communicates council proceedings *905-791-7800 ext 4562 Peel's Regional Emergency Program (PREP) - implements and maintains the Region’s Emergency Plan and works together with area municipalities to ensure that a high level of municipal emergency response and preparedness exists within Peel *905-791-7800 ext 4444 | |||
