905-857-3313 The Fitness Centre includes a 10,000 square foot field house surrounded by a three lane rubberized running track. The field house consists of a fully equipped weight and cardio training area. There are two international squash courts and a fitness program room featuring a sprung hardwood floor. Fitness programs include step classes, boxercise, yoga, pilates, TaeKwonDo, ballroom and bellydance. 
Wellness, lifestyle and professional services include nutrition counselling, healthy cooking classes, Red Cross first aid/CPR training, foot care, physiotherapy, massage therapy, personal training and cardiac rehabilitation. 
Small meeting space rental available. The Centre includes a youth centre and an aquatics centre.  
Just outside are Ralph's Rink and John's Rink, which are a multi-use pads, serving as basketball courts during summer months, and ice rinks in the winter. 
New to the Centre in 2005 is the Snoezelen Multi-Sensory Room, filled with colourful objects, images, pleasant sounds, gentle vibrations and interesting aromas, for those people who have sensory or learning disabilities.

There are opportunities to ask questions and interact with other parents. * Baby Signing (0-12mths) . A program for parents/caregivers and their children that facilitates attachment and focuses on fostering the early development of infants' communication and language skills by using had gestures or ASL in order to meet their child's needs. *Book-Making. An interactive group experience for parents and their children which focus on rhymes, songs and stories to motivate children to become mini authors. Parents/caregivers and children will spend quality time together assembling a custom book and the end result will become a treasure for years to come. * Explore our World (3,5-6yrs). A fun and explorative program for families with children that build on children's natural curiosities and appreciation of the natural world. A variety of activities give families the opportunity to explore, question, compare, experiment, and estimate together. By engaging in activities that interest and engage children's senses, their imagination and vocabulary are expanded, and the tools are provided for developing critical thinking skills. * Family Move and Groove (0-6yrs). An interactive program to introduce children to the concepts of music, movement and creative play, which encourages listening and language skills, imitation and gross motor development. Children and families engage in enjoyable and developmentally appropriate activities, particularly, movement to music. Through play and physical activity, children can participate in creative movement, dance and other daily physical activities while demonstrating balance, attention to cues in music, body and spatial awareness and the ability apply basic safety rules. * Letters and Sounds (3,5-6yrs). A program for families with children where they engage in a variety of activities that facilitate the learning of letters of the alphabet, which are used in fun and interactive ways to facilitate further learning at the families' homes. * Math is Everywhere (3-6yrs). A program for families with children that fosters a positive attitude towards mathematics by engaging in a variety of developmentally appropriate play activities. Intake 905-451-4655 Group Services offers a broad spectrum of groups and workshops related to child and family functioning in order to help children and youth meet developmental expectations at home, in school and in the community. These services are designed to: 
- help parents and children develop strategies for coping with the concerns in their lives 
- give opportunities for parents and/or children to interact and learn from each other 
- provide information for parents on specific issues. 
Group Services are free of charge. Peel Children's Centre staff facilitate the groups and childcare is available for most groups. 
Note: some treatment groups require an assessment to determine appropriateness for the specific group.

All Peel Region families with newborns receive a telephone call from a Public Health Nurse within 48hrs after discharge from the hospital. New parents receive advice and support to help them with the changes a new baby brings, and are offered a home visit by a Public Health Nurse. Families who are isolated and overburdened will have access to the Home Visiting Program, which offers the family the support of a Family Visitor and a Public Health Nurse.
