HMSCAT is a free 10-week closed group for women and their children ages newborn to 12 years old. The program provides assistance to women in helping their children deal with the impacts of exposure to woman abuse. HMSCAT is offered in a number of different languages, including English, Spanish, Punjabi, Hindi, Afro-Caribbean languages, and South Asian languages. Women of all religious and ethnic backgrounds are welcomed, and the program is offered in Brampton and Mississauga. 
 
Lyrical Quest 
Lyrical Quest is offered as one session per week for 8 weeks, and is a group program for adolescents who have been exposed to violence against women in their families. The focus is on using music, spoken word, and expressive arts as a therapeutic intervention to stimulate discussion regarding various facets of violence such as social issues, family conflict, and community and cultural beliefs. Adolescents are also taught skills that help them to develop healthy relationships.

Offers individual assessment and group counseling services for men in Peel Region and Dufferin County

The program also offers individual assessment and counseling for women in Dufferin County * program aims to encourage and support individuals to use respectful ways of relating within their intimate family relationships and to help them end their use of intimate partner violence

In Peel Region, offers three multilingual groups and one culturally-informed group serving men from the South Asian diaspora who are comfortable using Punjabi, Hindi or Urdu * multicultural group is offered in Dufferin County

The group program is informed by an invitational approach to counseling * clients who are mandated to attend the program must complete an assessment session and sixteen sessions (2hrs/session) of group work

Program participation is not possible for individuals with outstanding criminal charges related to domestic violence * program personnel also offer outreach, support, and referral services for the partners of program participants through the Partner Contact Service

Family Services of Peel was established in 1971 as a non-profit, charitable agency to provide family and community support services for the people of Peel. As a multi-service agency, we provide professional counselling, educational programs, employment support services, support for people with developmental disabilities and their families, as well as support for victims of abuse. 
 
Free Walk-in Counselling is provided every Wednesday at our Brampton and Mississauga locations, from 12pm to 8pm.

PCHS is a Health and Social Service not-for-profit and charitable agency which provides a variety of services for the South Asian community including: addiction * mental health * seniors and high risk seniors services * health promotion * domestic violence * women's and men's group programs * group programs for youth and children * parenting programs * In total it provides 24 programs.  
 
PCHS has a partnership with William Osler Hospital to run Diabetes Management educational program at 2980 Drew Road, Unit # 241, Malton.  
 
PCHS also runs other health promotion programs - heart disease * diabetes education * tobacco prevention * Hep C * Stroke * HIV/AIDS * Cancer * Kidney disease * Healthy Eating and lifestyles programs.  
 
PCHS is organizing a five year community development project in Malton called "Malton Community Building Project". 
 
PCHS also provides SAHARA food bank * services for abused women * translation services * media outreach * resource development * and diversity training.
