Description Ontario March of Dimes assists persons with disabilities to reach their employment objectives. We offer a full range of Employment Services to help people develop employment plans, prepare for work, overcome employment barriers, and return to the workforce. We find you the right job first, then make sure you have the proper training so you can keep it.  
Success begins with a solid employment plan. Ontario March of Dimes can help you: * identify your skills and abilities * develop a step-by-step employment plan * choose the right mix of services 
* obtain funding 
We help you identify: * your range of abilities and limitations * your potential for improvement * your need for work accommodations 
* training and services required to help prepare you for employment 
* the services required to help you secure and maintain employment 
Services that you can use to help reach your employment goal: 
* job development & placement * matching a job best suited to your skills and interests * on the job training * quick training process to start work immediately * resume development * learn to create effective and personal resumes 
Interview Skills Development: become comfortable with the interview process and learn common interview questions and responses 
Job Finding Club: discover the best ways to search for employment opportunities 
Job Coaching: have a professional, personal coach to support you on the job 
Assistive Devices Program:Funding is provided for devices that: 
• Help adults live safely and independently in their homes 
• Allow for discharge from a hospital or rehabilitation centre. 
• Help avoid job loss 
• Support opportunities for participation in educational, developmental and community activities 
Hours Mon-Fri 9 am-4:30 pm
