Description Adult day program for individuals with acquired physical disabilities such as stroke, Parkinson's disease, Multiple Sclerosis * social, recreational, and therapeutic activities for adults with acquired physical disabilities in a group setting for part of the day * helps to support family caregivers who provide day-to-day care * participation in this program will assist physical, social, emotional and cognitive development * transportation is not included in program fee 
fitness classes (yoga, chair exercise, pool activities, balance classes, table games and social activities) 
community outreach activities 
 
Accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) Canada
Hours Office: Mon-Thu 8:30am-4:30pm 
Program: Mon-Thu 9am-3pm
Dates Program runs all year long, with the exception of statutory holidays, 2 weeks over Christmas and New Years, 1 week over March Break and 1 week in September
Areas Served Halton Region ; Mississauga ; and area
Eligibility Ages: 21 year(s) and up 
 
Older adults and adults with disabilities, who need physical, social, or emotional supports * must be living in the Mississauga/Halton area * program is not appropriate for people with a diagnosis of Alzheimer's disease or other dementias
Application Contact the Next Step to Active Living Program or Central Registry to make an application * referral form must be completed by family physician
Fees Service ; Fee charged per session * additional fee for transportation
