Description Outreach and engagement of members of the African/Black community who are experiencing or are at risk of experiencing mental health challenges by promoting awareness of mental health services in the community 
Services include 
•culturally appropriate supportive mental health counseling 
•referrals to relevant and culturally appropriate mental health service providers such as CAM-H, FAME, Doctors’ offices and Community Health Centers, Peel Public Health Services etc 
•public education and information sessions on mental health awareness, prevention and treatment services 
•practical supports in accessing affordable housing, income security programs, food-banks, skills upgrading programs, employment services, accompaniments to appointments and advocacy 
•daily drop-in services for one-on-one counseling support with recreational hang-out activities, poetry and music activities, outings etc 
•advocacy to facilitate access to community resources and services 
•limited support with bus-tickets, lunch and snacks from the food pantry
