Description The centre is operated by Central West LHIN but provider is Spectrum Health Care  
• Eligible for CW LHIN service 
• Lives in Central West geography 
• Able to travel to Nursing Care Centre using public or private transportation 
• Ambulates independently / minimal aids 
• Requires BID visits or less 
• Treatment can be managed within nursing care centre hours 
• The service can be provided safely in the Nursing Care Centre setting 
• Condition is stable, and client is able to attend Nursing Care Centre setting without undue hardship or risk  
 Note: The following clients may be appropriate for Nursing Care Centre on a case by case assessment: 
• pediatric clients ( NB pediatric supplies for children are not stocked in the NCCs) 
• Care Centre visits for Individuals with MRSA, VRE, C diff, Hep C will be booked at the end of the day.  
Not Eligible: medically fragile children, immunosuppressed clients, and clients who screen positive for FRI;  
Nursing Service available for: 
• Health teaching/counseling 
• IV therapy and infusion, therapy line maintenance,  
• First doses and pump management 
• Wound management 
• IM or sub -q injections 
• Catheter removal and/or insertion 
• Drain removal 
• Suture removal
Hours Mon- Fri 8am- 8pm 
Weekend & Holidays 8am-4pm with last appointment 3:30pm
Areas Served Brampton ; Etobicoke North ; within CW CCAC boundaries
