Description Supports and services to homeless or at risk youth * access to immediate shelter, nutritious meals and shower facilities * Second stage/transitional housing * referrals to local service providers 
 
Shelter/Housing 
 
•Emergency Shelter - 20 bed capacity * offers safety, shelter and food * 30 day residency 
•NEXT Choice - Second stage/transitional housing * offers 7 rooms for rent in a structured program * youth must fill out an application and go through an interview process before they are accepted into this program * assist youth with housing for up to 1 year 
•CHOICES Community Housing Program - Offers 5 bedrooms for rent in a more independent program. Youth must fill out an application and go through the interview process before they are accepted into this program. Assists youth with housing until they are able to afford market rent. There are 2 houses available, for a combined capacity of 10 rooms. 
 
 
Support Services and Programs: 
 
•Anger Management - for anyone over the ages of 16. Run by a Certified Anger Management Specialist - 8 week program. Certificate given at the end of the 8 week program. To receive your certificate, you have to attend all meetings. $50 for anyone over the age of 24 to be paid on the first session. For information please contact Shelley Nesbitt 519-942-5970, ext 4 
•Life Skills - Major room clean: Youth learn how to clean properly, do their laundry, change bed sheets, and how to maintain good hygiene * Tue 7:00 pm 
•Today Program - assistance to local youth not currently residing at the shelter * access to a mid-day meal, shower, telephone and community referral 
 
 
Outreach Services - offers an educational aspect to the shelter programs. Provide guest speakers to community service clubs, youth groups and school classes who can inform the groups about the problems and issues of homelessness. The goal is to lessen the need for services by educating the youth and public to healthy alternatives
Hours Youth are welcome at the house between 5:00 pm-8:30 am under normal shelter conditions
