Description A safe and friendly space for older adults (age 55+) from diverse cultures to meet 
The program  
•reduces social isolation of 'at risk' ethnic seniors 
•supports development of social networks 
•promotes health and wellness 
•builds self esteem and self confidence to lead an independent life  
Program activities:  
•exercise classes (yoga, gentle fitness, stretch and strength) 
•health and wellness workshops and seminars 
•diabetes education - pre and post exercise blood sugar testing 
•English language classes 
•arts and crafts 
Currently, there is a wait period of approximately one year for programs offered on Tue and Thu 
Program Locations and time: 
111 Kendleton Drive, Etobicoke, in the auditorium 
10:30 am-11:15am - Active Fitness 
11:15 am-12noon - Gentle Fitness 
10:30 am-12noon - Diabetes Education 
All programs are followed by the Health Snack Program at 11:15am and 12noon

12noon-1pm - Active Fitness and Gentle Fitness 
1pm-2pm - Congregated Dining 
2pm-3pm - Health Education Workshop/Social Program

Service is available to residents within the geographic boundaries - W to Highway 427, N to Steeles Avenue, E to Humber River, S to Dixon Road. Service for older adults-ages 55+
Application Registration is required. Registration forms are available at the main reception desk at Rexdale CHC
