Description & Services

Description Seniors’ Program offers a safe and friendly space for older adults (age 55+) from diverse cultures to meet  
 
The program 
•reduces social isolation of 'at risk' ethnic seniors 
•supports development of social networks 
•promotes health and wellness 
•builds self esteem and self confidence to lead an independent life  
 
 
Program activities:  
•walk and talk social - an opportunity to enjoy fresh air and exercise while enjoying the conversation and social participation of other participants 
•men's social program - offers social time, health promotion education and a light lunch 
 
Currently, there is a wait period of approximately one year for programs offered on Tue and Thu
Hours Program hours vary
Areas Served Etobicoke ; Toronto
Eligibility Service is available to residents within the geographic boundaries - W to Highway 427, N to Steeles Avenue, E to Humber River, S to Dixon Road. Service for older adults-ages 55+
