| Description | Retirement residence * assisted care * no locked facilities for wandering cognitively impaired persons * short term and trial periods available * Care included in daily rate. Care levels include: •early Alzheimer's/dementia •assistance with weekly bathing and personal hygiene •customize the level of care to each individual's needs •incontinence management •exercise and falls prevention •medication administration •free laundry facilities •daily housekeeping •3 meals a day, snacks •residents must be able to feed themselves •be mobile independently or with some minor assistance Extra services can be added: •cable television, personal laundry •guest meals, hair salon, foot care •lab services A member of the Ontario Retirement Communities Association (ORCA), a voluntary, non-profit association that sets professional standards, inspects and accredits retirement residences in Ontario |
