| Description | New Haven, is a non-profit charitable organization secializing in the provision of evidence-based treatment and academic intervention for school aged children. They also offer early intervention for those 18 - 48 months old and have a productive adult program and day service model that supports life skills development, vocational training and personal well-being. New Haven contributes to the development of Canadian expertise in Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) intervention by raising awareness and providing training and education to parents, professionals and the community. Another integral part of their programs includes providing families with effective skills and intervention strategies for other environments (e.g., home, community, relatives homes, etc.) NEW HAVEN LEARNING CENTRE - treatment and educational services: Early Intervention - Rising Up (12 - 48 months); Bright Start (2 - 5yrs) School Age: ASD Classroom (5 - 18yrs) Community Access and Participation: CAP (18yrs and up) Vocational training and work placement: (18yrs and up) . |
