Description Literacy, numeracy and essential skills services that help individuals achieve goals related to further education or training, employment or increased independence * support in clarifying upgrading goals and developing a training plan to achieve them  
 
Also academic upgrading services that help individuals develop the necessary skills for entry into college-based post-secondary education and training programs (such as apprenticeship)  
 
The Literacy and Basic Skills, non-credit program is designed for English speaking adults who want to improve essential and transferable skills for employment purposes or for their own independence.
